My parents have recently downsized and they’ve gotten really into renovations. They bought this adorable little ranch that needed a lot of work and they’ve decided to do a lot of it themselves which I think is kind of crazy at their age but whatever!
They put up the backsplash in the kitchen and they’ve been working on the yard and I even went online to look up Fernley Direct tv to sign them up and get them the DIY network which I know they’ll love. My mom really seems to be enjoying learning all this new stuff and my dad was in contracting about 30 years ago so he’s having a blast flexing his brain again this way.
I know the house is going to be great when they’re done and it’s actually a wonderful investment , too, so I think it was a great decision for them to buy it. They agonized over whether or not it was time to leave the old farmhouse but from the looks of things I think this was a good call.
